Chapman CES Faculty Assume Editorial Posts and New Editorships on Two Prestigious Journals

Faculty in the College of Educational Studies are committed to participating in the advancement of their respective fields by contributing their time and expertise to a range of editorial posts on a total of 42 academic journals. CES faculty are primary editors on two prestigious journals as noted below.

Issues in Teacher Education: The Journal Comes to Chapman

Chapman University’s College of Educational Studies has the honor of being the current “home” of Issues in Teacher Education, a journal of the California Council on Teacher Education. The semiannual journal features articles from the field regarding teacher education policy and practices. Co-Editors Dr. Suzanne SooHoo and Dr. Joel Colbert will fulfill their role as reviewers of the journal for the next six years, in collaboration with other CES faculty and several Ph.D. students. In addition, Dr. Colbert has implemented an interactive blog on the journal Web site which enables readers and co-authors to comment and converse with article contributors. The ITE Web site is currently housed at Chapman.

Communication Disorders Quarterly

Dr. Judy Montgomery is Editor in Chief of this international journal which publishes research articles in the areas of communication disabilities and deafness. The journal has six Associate Editors; CES Ph.D. student Jennifer Shubin is Editorial Assistant.
